I had a dental anesthetic hangover following the day of my dental work and anesthetic fog, so no crafting.

The was no Day 17. After a couple nights of little and bad sleep, I couldn't concentrate on anything well enough not to make it worse.

I felt better. I got all my polymer clay stuff in one place! (and then I found the clay roller after I took the picture.

I had planned on working on costumes today, but I didn't sleep well and even after a nap, didn't feel it would be safe to work with a sharp needle.

So I finished coloring a picture I started MONTHS ago. Not sure if it counts, but I'm pretty happy with how it turned out.

Still in the midst of post root canal pain. Went to the dentist AGAIN on Thursday. They put in some topical antibiotic, and gave me a rinse. And I've been hitting the major pain killers when I don't have to drive or be alone with the kids. I've still been in level 5-8 pain despite everything, and if it's still this bad tomorrow, I'm calling them ( Read more... )

Day 16 - I looked through the week 7 packet of the Mystery Stitchalong to decide on how to finish the project. There are 16(!)charted finishes, plus 3 different bottom borders, plus a charted alphabet if you wanted to design your own finish. The finishes are all related to one fandom or another. Have you ever watched that episode of BBBT where Penny makes penny blossoms flower decorations? That's how I felt over the weekend. It's a custom of my kids' class that non-food goodies are given to one's classmates on one's birthday. (Some of the goodie bags have been truly fantastic.) My girls have their birthday this week.
